Alex Rodriguez smacked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Tom Glavine was able to
finish what he started and was credited with a complete game as the SSB SSB
Tar Heels smashed the overmatched Dominican Republicans, 13 to 2.
Rodriguez helped send the fans home happy. He ripped a base-knock in the 1st
inning, delivered a solo blast in the 5th inning and lofted a three-run
'big-fly' (his 10th of the season) in the 8th inning. SSB had 17 hits for
the afternoon.
The victory was credited to Glavine(8-3) who went the distance, allowing 2
runs. Kyle Lohse(0-4) took the loss. 'I was really seeing the ball today,'
Rodriguez said 'I wish it was always this easy.'
